    Hello Chelan Community!

I'm thrilled to join this wonderful forum and get to know more of you amazing people. Let me introduce myself and my lively crew:

I'm a 41-year-old happily married parent of four fantastic kids who keep me on my toes. Our clan consists of Evan (17), who’s already planning his escape to college, Madelyn (15), who’s the reigning queen of teenage drama, Ana (11), our aspiring artist with a flair for the dramatic, and Olivia (7), the family’s pint-sized tornado of energy and giggles. Our kids attend Chelan Elementary School and Chelan High School, where they keep the teachers both entertained and mildly exasperated.

We hail from the Bremerton area, took a detour through the glitz and glamour of Las Vegas (just long enough to get sand in all the wrong places), and finally landed in the beautiful Chelan Valley in 2021. The pandemic had us packing our bags and making the great escape back to Washington, where the air is fresh, and the college opportunities for our kids are top-notch. As a 100% disabled veteran, ensuring they have a bright future was a huge motivator for our move.

We now reside up on Union Valley, where we enjoy a stunning view of the lake and Chelan Butte every day. It’s a bit like living in a postcard, but with more laundry and sibling squabbles.

I'm excited to connect with other locals, share stories, and get involved in this vibrant community. Whether you’re a fellow parent navigating the school system, a lover of the great outdoors, or just someone who enjoys a good chat, I’m looking forward to engaging with you all.

Feel free to reach out, especially if you have tips on the best local spots or how to keep up with four active kids!

    Cheers,

    Michael

Yeah, not a problem at all. I'd love to some help with things if anybody is up to help. Just getting things going and have a base foundation, but I am sure there are things that can be removed, or added to make it make more sense. :-)
